With being snowed in for the majority of the week, we decided to take advantage and get a head start on Valentines cards.  We are NEVER this prepared.  Usually it’s a mad dash, construction paper and glue jam session the day before a party or the day before we should mail them out.

This year, however – we started early!

Cutting small card shapes from water color paper

R's finished painted paper - drying and waiting to be cut into hearts

finished cards

We took two sheets of water color paper.  One we cut into card shapes, most small – one large for Grandma. The other we covered in colors!   When it was dry, R cut out heart shapes, glued them to the front of the cards, decorated with some stamps that we had and perfect!!  Lovely Valentine’s Day cards.

Bright Blessings
